2/9/2024 EnchantaVaughn Approved QMHPA greeted Ms. Cosby upon arrival to the home setting. Upon arrival to the home setting, Ms. Cosby appeared to be in a relaxed mood evident by her facial expressions such as a smile on the face and engaging in appropriate conversation with QMHPA. QMHPA inquired about her day. Ms. Cosby did not present any symptoms of S/I or H/I at the time of the session. QMHPA began the session by inquiring about Ms. Cosby’s current thoughts, feelings, and emotions. QMHPA questioned Ms. Cosby about her current finances and her budgeting. QMHPA explored with Ms. Cosby her spending habits and upcoming bills for this month. QMHPA engaged Ms. Cosby in a skills building activity surrounding her creating a list of her bills for the beginning of the month and having an idea for the end of the month. QMHPA explained to Ms. Cosby that the purpose of this activity was to assist her with managing her money. QMHPA encouraged Ms. Cosby to monitor her spending and expenses and to practice effective money management skills. QMHPA assisted Ms. Cosby in the community with identifying community resources and ways to maximize her spending. Ms. Cosby appeared to be receptive to QMHPAs’ interventions and services that were provided to her during the session. Ms. Cosby shared that she was content with her current finances and budgeting because she has to be able to do what she has to do when it comes to her own household bills. Ms. Cosby expressed to QMHPA that she just needs support from her boyfriend and then she would be just fine. While in the community, Ms. Cosby identified available community resources in her area to include churches that serve free lunch and clothing and food pantries. At the end of the session, Ms. Cosby shared that she recognized she needed to work on how she manages her money, but that she struggles with change.
